Whispering Oaks Ranch is 8000 feet up in the heart of the La Sal Mountain Loop road. Close enough to the town of Moab to enjoy local amenities, but private enough to experience the peaceful solitude of the mountains. Our 50,000-acre property offers an escape from the desert heat in the summer as well amazing access to the recreational and sightseeing activities nearby.
3) Wedding season weather
Wedding season in Moab tends to last from late May to October. This period of time spans late spring through autumn, allowing our couples to choose the season of their wedding. We are especially known for our summer weddings, since our location offers a respite from the heat, and more of a cool-mountain climate, while maintaining stunning views of the desert.
4) Local adventures for the couple and their party
Your wedding party doesn’t have to stop at the bounds of our ranch! In fact we love sharing local activities for our guests to do. There are dozens of local hikes we love, as well as several lakes and viewpoints that offer access to all the incredible things the Moab area has to offer.
5) Slow down and escape
Here at Whispering Oaks Ranch we are proud to offer seven luxurious cabins hosting up to 65 overnight guests. We hope our guests can experience the beauty of their surroundings not just through the views our wedding venues, but also through their cabins. Our cabins being independently located offers a unique chance to separate from city-living and immerse yourself in the beauty of nature.
6) Micro-wedding options
If the engaged couple prefers a smaller event for their special day, we offer a micro-wedding event space for no additional cost. This package offers the lodging of our 3 small cabins that can host 6-10 overnight guests. We also have our Cedar Bend lodge cabin (with 6 private bed and bathrooms) that can host up to 24 overnight guests and is 6000 square feet. This lodge cabin features a beautiful detached deck with views of the La Sal mountain peaks, and is a favorite for our guests who opt for smaller ceremonies.
7) Spectacular outdoor wedding pavilion
Our 1800 square foot covered wedding pavilion is one of the highlights of our ranch. Situated in the middle of our great lawn, this pavilion offers a wide array of amenities and is perfect for large outdoor wedding parties. This pavilion offers a view of the La Sal Mountains and has two decks on the North and East sides that allow guests to take in the views.
